We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to serve as the department's primary project manager responsible for running the department's budget and ensuring projects are delivered with the highest standards, within scope and on schedule. The ideal candidate should have core PMP competencies, including a mastery of key budgeting tactics and financial systems, along with the ability to implement technology driven solutions.
This position will play a pivotal role in driving the marketing department’s deliverables by managing resources and facilitating communication across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Oversight and Reporting:
- Manage the overall firm’s marketing budget (processing expenses, tracking, and reporting) as well as assist in developing and managing project base budgets.
- Develop and maintain regular reports on key budget metrics at the practice, individual lawyer and specific initiative spend, providing insights and recommendations for continuous optimization. This includes monthly reconciliation and noting budget utilization.
Project Management and Technology / AI Adoption:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on the development and implementation of PM tools to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Streamline marketing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness with technology driven solutions.
- Ensure that all marketing materials and campaigns adhere to the firm’s brand guidelines and messaging standards.
- Serve as an AI ambassador and liaison with the firm’s KM team to spearhead the marketing department’s training and adoption.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of financial systems (e.g. 3E, Chrome River) and key metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Nexl, InterAction, Salesforce).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
