Company Profile

Aronberg Goldgehn

Company History

More than 125 years ago, Aronberg Goldgehn was founded by two young attorneys in Chicago who began their own firm, known then as Newman & Northrup. The firm began in 1892, and focused on handling business transactions and banking matters. The firm experienced continued growth throughout the 1900's by maintaining its founding characteristics; loyalty, steadfast determination, and, most importantly, a commitment to a high level of quality and integrity in the services provided to every client.
Expanding its reach as it grew in size, the firm evolved by adding the many practice areas that allow the firm's attorneys to provide comprehensive services as clients' trusted advisors and advocates. Rather than downsize, like many businesses and firms were forced to do when faced with the economic downturn of 2008, the firm remained a loyal partner to staff and clients, continuing its growth and success as a mid-sized law firm representing businesses, financial institutions, families and individuals in nearly every major area of practice.
Today, Aronberg Goldgehn continues to preserve our founding principles by placing a strong emphasis on our clients, culture, and firm values. The firm's personnel and clients are by far our greatest assets, and they continue to support and build our lasting practice. With roots deeply engrained in the city of Chicago, Aronberg Goldgehn is proud to continue the history and legacy Newman & Northrup set in motion so many years ago.
