JOB SUMMARY:

This position reports to the Senior Communications and Digital Marketing Manager and collaborates with all members of the Marketing and Business Development department. Location flexible. This position focuses on firmwide attorney engagement, notably onboarding of new attorneys, bio updates/management, attorney photography, support as needed for thought leadership distribution, and website maintenance. Depending on location, the role may also liaise with a subset of regional offices as their contact person for team services. This role requires a focus on consistency of process and firm voice while navigating the unique needs of new and existing attorneys to position themselves in alignment with firm brand and industry and/or business unit strategy.



Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all web-related content for our attorney population, namely bio and photo updates as well as working with BD team on positioning and industry/business unit listings
  • Manage all attorney onboarding activities related to marketing – bio creation, photography, and engaging with our media consultants should outside promotion be required
  • Establish and maintain relationships with regional and national photographers
  • Maintain photo library
  • Work with Pitch & Proposal team to ensure content is consistent between systems
  • Work with rest of MBD content team on social media promotions of new hires
  • As needed, work with HR/recruitment on promotion of summer associates and other unique attorney cohorts where content promotion would be beneficial
  • Serve as team point person with recruitment on new hires where marketing efforts are concerned
  • As needed, work directly with our Business Development Managers on identifying and executing strategic marketing initiatives to help grow client relationships and enhance market share and revenue
  • Update firm website content as needed to maintain relevancy and optimize for search
  • Manage periodic audits of practice/industry professional listings
  • Build and maintain a working relationship with attorneys across offices where support is needed
  • Support other digital properties and projects as needed
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Primary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or related field.
  • Three + years of marketing or similar experience, preferably in legal or other professional services environment.
  • Strong technology skills, and a high-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, some work with a CRM system (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team orientation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience with content creation, working with sponsors, and event coordination (preferred).
  • Organized, detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills, and ability to work on multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • “Can-do” attitude with willingness to learn.
  • Periodic travel and flexibility will be required.
